Hi, I’m Scott. I write stuff.

I’ve worked for the Tampa Bay edition of alternative weekly newspaper chain Creative Loafing for about a decade, and spent five of those years as a full-time staffer. I left that cozy position to pursue a career as a freelancer, and by the time I got home that day the bottom had dropped out of the journalism industry. I continue to contribute to CL regularly, and also do a ton of other stuff, from copywriting to comedy bits to fiction.

My wife Rebecca and I live in Saint Petersburg, Florida with Sophie, Milo, Bentley, Bagheera and Lucy, and our friends are the best.
